Mineral-Insulated Fire-Resistant Cable (BTTZ)

Copper-sheathed MI cable for circuit integrity in fire.

Mineral-Insulated Fire-Resistant Cable (BTTZ)

Product Overview

BTTZ mineral-insulated cable has copper conductors embedded in compacted magnesium-oxide (MgO) insulation, sealed in a seamless copper sheath. It maintains circuit integrity at very high temperatures and is waterproof, radiation-resistant and inherently flame-proof.

Key Features

  • MgO mineral insulation, seamless copper sheath
  • Circuit integrity under fire (IEC 60331)
  • Waterproof, explosion-proof, radiation-resistant
  • High continuous temperature capability
  • Long service life, no ageing of insulation
