Variable-Frequency Cable

Inverter-duty power cable for VFD / variable-speed drives.

Variable-Frequency Cable

Product Overview

Engineered for variable-frequency drive (VFD) systems, this cable carries the high-frequency, high-dV/dt PWM output from inverters to motors. Symmetrical shielding and low-capacitance insulation suppress reflected waves and bearing currents, protecting both drive and motor.

Key Features

  • Rated for inverter PWM output with high dV/dt
  • Symmetrical copper shielding to reduce EMI & bearing currents
  • XLPE or special PVC insulation for thermal stability
  • Withstands frequent start/stop and switching transients
  • Suitable for vector and servo drive applications
